BOOKS/OverDrive Version 8 Released

BOOKS™ Version 8 and OverDrive™ Version 8 are now available for download.


New features in OverDrive™ Version 8 allow you to import all transaction, account, and securities data from the Raymond James home office, and totally eliminate manual data entry into BOOKS™.

In order to import home office data, you need the Raymond James PowerLink program.  If you do not currently have PowerLink, call the home office to order it.  Ask for PowerLink daily data downloads.

New features in BOOKS Version 8 include:

  • Entry times and execution times are recorded to the second, thus meeting the new OATS requirements.
  • Commission calculations for options have been added.
  • A Solicited/Unsolicited/Discretionary indicator is now displayed on the Main View Screen to simplify supervision.
