You can print a positions page for any client that you have entered in your BOOKSä system. Sells will be matched with the oldest buys first. Even a fairly large account can be printed on one or two 8 1/2 by 11 sheets of paper, and the securities will be listed in alphabetical order. If you print out a page for each of your accounts, and put them in a three ring binder, you will have a traditional broker's account book, neater and more complete than usual. Click with the mouse, or press Alt+P to display the Print Menu, then click on or press C for Customer positions. The account selection page will appear. Highlight the accounts that you wish to print, pressing the spacebar to mark for output while the highlight is on each account. Then choose OK. The customer position pages that you requested will be printed. You can print your entire customer book by choosing the Select All button. When printing Customer Positions, you can choose to have the pages sorted by security or by date. This meets a compliance requirement of the State of Wisconsin. The default setting is by security. You can change the default using the File Options command. Print a Cross Reference Cross reference pages are useful when there is news or a change of opinion on a particular security. With BOOKS, you can print a cross-reference page at any time. You can also view all orders involving a certain security by using the View by Symbol command from the View menu. The Main View Screen will be sorted in order by security. It is a simple matter to scroll through the Main View Screen with the Page Down key or by using the Scroll Bar to the right of the screen so that the security that interests you is in the View Window. To print out a cross reference page, press Alt+P to access the Print menu, or click the mouse. Then press R to print the cross reference page, or click on Cross Reference with the mouse.
