This manual lets YOU decide how much detail you want to see. The first time you read about a topic, you will get a quick overview. Then, if you want more detail, you just click on the hyperlink to read about it in more depth.. You can tell a hyperlink in text, because it will be underlined and be a different color than the rest of the text. Many times, the hyperlink will change to a third color after you use it. In addition, many graphic elements are also hyperlinks.
Every page in this manual has a hyperlink to the AdvisorTools.com home page, the Index to the manual, and to the Previous Page and the Next Page in the site.
The Previous and Next pages in the site are based on their order in the site, not what you last read. To go back to the page you were at before, just click on the BACK arrow on the toolbar of your browser. You can click on BACK several times to go back further and further. FORWARD on your toolbar will take you to where you were before you last clicked on the BACK button. Hyperlinks can also bring up your e-mail client with a blank message already addressed to the appropriate e-mail address. The e-mail address at the bottom of this page is an example of that kind of hyperlink.

The Index list at left is actually a list of hyperlinks and works the same way as the Index Page. Click on one of the items in the list, and it will take you to the page where that topic is discussed. In the AdvisorTools.com Web site, you will always be taken to the top of the page on which the topic is discussed. As you browse the web, you will find that some authors make their web site one continuous page, and then the hyperlinks will take you to a bookmark on the page. Using the Index If what you are looking for is on the list, that's great. But, if it is not on the list, what do you do?
Go to a topic that seems close to what you want. Then look on that page to see if there is a link to what you want. You may have to "drill down" (as it is called) through several hyperlinks to find what you want. We have endeavored in the design of this site to not require more than three layers to drill down to any topic. While we hope to make our list as complete as possible, iIf you cannot find what you want, send a request to support@advisortools.com. We will reply to you by e-mail, usually within one business day, with an answer. You may be surprised the next time you visit our site to see your topic on the Index. We often add items to the manual when we find that a user needed help.
