The OverDrive™ Top Ten List
The following are the ten most-used commands in OverDrive™. For a complete list of menus and commands, see the following sections. 1. Accounts Menu, Summary Command This report combines the Value and Quick Holdings Screens to give yuo a complete picture of the holdings in the account including security positions priced as of last night, cash and money fund balances. You can use this command before doing a buy to make sure funds are available, and before a sell to make sure the shares are in the account. 2 . Accounts Menu, Activity or Account History Command This report shows account activity over the dates you specify. Activity is in date order, and History is in reverse date order. 3. Accounts Menu, History for Symbol Command This is the command to use when you want to see when a particular security was bought or sold and all the dividends that were received on it. 4. Securities Menu, Cross Reference Command This report shows a list of all your accounts that hold a given security. 5. Securities Menu, Bond Inventory Commands These commands show inventories of bonds available through OLOS. You can retrieve inventories for muni bonds for your favorite states, government bonds, and corporate bonds. 6. Orders Menu, Enter BOOKS™ Orders Click on this command to have OverDrive™ pick up stock and mutual fund order tickets from BOOKS™ and send them to through Rumba™ using the Raymond James order entry system. All orders will be displayed in a spreadsheet style window for final inspection before being entered. You can choose to not send any order by replacing the P (for Place Order) in the first column of the spreadsheet with a blank space. 7. Orders Menu, Take Reports Pick up reports on any stock orders that were entered by OverDrive™. OverDrive™ will not pick up reports on any order it did not enter. 8. Orders Menu, Match Confirms Match confirms for any stock order entered by OverDrive™. 9. Confirm Summary Report You can retrieve this report even if not enabled for wire order entry. It summarizes gross commissions credited to a rep or to all reps in a branch, showing each transaction, including buys, sells, wrap fees, and trails. You can use this report for matching confirms in BOOKS™, since the transaction number is included. 10. Orders Menu, Monitor Orders For those enabled for wire order entry, creates a spreadsheet showing you the status of all your orders as reflected in the home-office order entry system. It shows you all open orders, and gives execution information (price, quantity, and time) for filled orders and partially filled orders. You can print the spreadsheet using the Print command in the File menu on the Order Monitor Screen.
